Queue busting solution
The challenge was to reduce long queues at the car rental pick-up points. Site visits and data analysis was done to understand the situation. Learnings from the study were used to design multiple solution options. The selected option was launched, tested and improved continuously over a period of two years.
Employee mobile experience
The organisation wanted to engage with employees on their personal phones rather than on the traditional intranet. This project involved user research, prototyping and user testing seven different apps focused on employee productivity and collaboration. The design was based on the guidelines of a SaaS platform blended with the company’s brand guidelines.
Smart TV interface
The client wanted to upgrade the product with a new smart TV platform. This project required understanding the TV, sound and home environment system, followed by designing the TV menu accessed by a remote control. The challenge was finding the right balance between the platform's UI and the brand's tone and voice.
User registration journey
The brand was experiencing sub-optimal user registration rates. To understand the problem, all physical and digital touch-points were analysed and pain-points were identified. The recommendations included a user-centric approach to design the user journey, solution options and a projected increase in the registration rate.
Experience design & measurement framework
The company was keen to establish a standard experience design and measurement framework for all employee products and services. The project involved studying existing process, stakeholder interviews, suggesting systemic improvements and writing detailed guidance to practice the necessary design methods.
UX maturity assessment
The company wanted to gradually move up the UX maturity ladder. The process started with studying the current state of products, site-visits and interviews. This study was followed by demonstrating the benefits of user-centered design in a live project and finally providing a UX maturity roadmap for the future.
